Updates

So its been forever since I've updated the blog; we've been pregnant and had a baby in the time since I've last written a word. So here goes... photos of Ashbie and of James and I with our glasses.

Family

Chris snapped this photo before we walked into church Easter morning. Not too shabby! Thanks Mom for a great weekend and for taking such good care of us. We love ya!

My Buddies

Last weekend while I was hard at work helping my mom with some maintenance at her place at Lake Gaston, James and Chris were hard at "play" in our backyard. James loves to play with the big kids in our neighborhood and they are always kind enough to oblige. Thanks Elijah and Taylor for keeping James company and giving Chris a "break."

Haircut

James was in need of a haircut badly... thanks Papa for saving the day. One afternoon while James was with his grandpa, they went to visit the barber. I am not sure where the new HUGE grin is coming from when you take James' picture but one thing is for sure he loves to say "CHEESE" right before you snap the photo!

Tonite's visit to Target gave us some new exciting photos of James. "Turns out" that he absolutely loves jack in the boxes and we caught some photos of him playing with one.

Mohawks

For those of you who have known James his whole life, you may know that Chris and I were able to snap one of our favorite photos of James during his first bath at two weeks old. I had never seen a child that young with a smile so big. Whose heart wouldnt be melted by the deep dimple and those big blue eyes? WAIT! Did I mention the mohawk? Well, the other night we decided we would try out the mohawk again... just for ol times sake and daggone it if we didnt snap another one of my favorites. Thank you Lord for this little guy! Boy, is he a blessing!
